Two – Component, Epoxy – Based Screed That Bonds Old Concrete to New Concrete
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
EPODUR 1520 is epoxy-based, two-component, solvent-free and fluidic adhesive that is used to bond old concrete to new one and also to bond different types of materials to each other.
Application Scope:
· In bonding old concrete to new concrete
- In protecting reinforcing bars from corrosion before repair mortar applications
- In adhering concrete, stone, metal etc.
- Assembly and anchorage of reinforcing bar
Characteristics/Advantages:
· Can be applied by brush easily
- Can be applied by pouring
- Bonds old concrete to new one perfectly
- The tensile strength and bond strength that are obtained after application are higher than concrete’s own tensile strength.
- Protects reinforcing bar from corrosion.
- Provides excellent adherence to even wet surfaces.
Consumption:
1.6 kg/m2 for thickness 1 mm
