Water-Based Liquid Bitumen Primer

 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Srt 100 Astar is a primer that is used for any kind of liquid or roll bitumen-based products. It is used as primer before bitumen-based products are used where bitumen coating had been applied.

 

Application Scope:

Is used as moisture proofing material in construction foundations, basements

Dry and wet surfaces such as terraces, roofs, kitchens, bathrooms etc.

Under bitumen coating

Is used as primer & bonder in fiberglass and canvas

In protecting metal surfaces such as steel construction, pipe etc

Is used as additive to waterproofing material and cement & sand- based mortar

In preventing falsework from deforming and to leave it from mortar

Characteristics/Advantages:

• Environment friendly as it has no solvent in it and is used in internal environment
• Dry and wet surfaces
• Forms waterproof and damp-proof layer after drying
• Is used as primer under bitumen coating
• Is used as additive for impermeability and bonding in cement-based mortar that is used for waterproofing

Consumption:

250 – 400 gr/m2 depending on smoothness of surface
